*Construction on the Extended Runway Safety Area for Runway 33 will resume on April 5, 2010. Once work resumes, the threshold of Runway 33 will be temporarily relocated approximately 540 feet and the glideslope will be temporarily taken out of service. However, the official length of the relocation is published in associated NOTAM's. The temporarily relocated threshold will be in effect for about two months after construction resumes. We will try to provide as much advance notice of any other changes as possible.
The Airport Commission of Forsyth County and the staff of Smith Reynolds Airport greatly appreciate your patience during several much needed projects. We know that airfield construction can cause substantial disruptions in your operations. Thank you very much for your cooperation and understanding.
Please note - We can only enter NOTAM's less than 3 days in advance of conditions, and we may be forced to extend NOTAM's or issue new NOTAM's at any time. Therefore, please use this site as a planning tool while using NOTAM's for official status of current conditions at INT. For example, simply because a NOTAM indicates a runway may be open at a certain time later in a week does not mean that the runway will actually open at that time.
